Saint Jerome (c.342-420 AD)

A fourth-century scholar, Jerome was gradually drawn to Christianity, then became a great theologian, apologist, and above all, biblical scholar. His faithful scholarly work has blessed generations of Christians with the chance to encounter the Word of God through the biblical text.
